Saint CONON d'Isaurie, thaumaturge et martyr (IIème siècle). (Office traduit en français par le père Denis Guillaume au tome III des Ménées.)
The Holy Martyr Conon of Isauria was born in Bethany, a village near the Asia Minor city of Isauria, whose inhabitants had accepted Christianity from the Apostle Paul. From his youth, St Conon was accorded the special protection of the "Archistrategos" ("Leader of the Heavenly Hosts") Michael, who appeared to him and assisted him in many difficult circumstances in life.

Troparion — Tone 5

Armed with the grace of the Spirit, / You crushed the power of ungodliness / And shone forth with miracles. / Dyed in the streams of your blood, O martyr Conon, / You glorify God, who through you grants us grace and great mercy!

Troparion — Tone 4

Your holy martyrs Conan and Onesimus, O Lord, / Through their sufferings have received incorruptible crowns from You, our God. / For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries, / And shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through their intercessions, save our souls!

Kontakion — Tone 3

Having lived on earth in purity, like an angel, / You were counted worthy to converse with the bodiless hosts. / You brought your parents to the knowledge of Christ / And having confessed the one God in Trinity, / You suffered to the shedding of your blood! / Martyr Conon, ever entreat him for the sake of us all!

Saint KIERAN, évêque et abbé en Irlande (vers 530).

Troparion of St Kieran Tone 4

Leaving the darkness of paganism,/ thou wast drawn by the radiance ofour pure and saving Faith, O Father Kieran,/ and shunning the costly
raiment of the episcopate,/ thou didst spend thy life in severest asceticism,/ thereby seeking the salvation of men's souls.

Kontakion of St Kieran Tone 8

Bread was thy meat and water thy wine, O blessed ascetic and great Father Kieran./ Rejecting clothing and comfort, thou didst enfold thyself in prayer, becoming a model of piety./ Wherefore we pray that, being stripped of all worldly affection,/ our lives may be transformed into a visible prayer to our Triune God

In truth you were revealed to your flock as a rule of faith,an image of humility and a teacher of abstinence;your humility exalted you; your poverty enriched you. Hierarch Father Nicholai, entreat Christ our God
that our souls may be saved.

Born at Lelich in Serbia, you served as archpastor at the church of Saint Nahum in Ochrid. You presided on the throne of Saint Sava at Zhicha, teaching the people of God and enlightening them with the Gospel, bringing them to repentance and love for Christ.
And for His sake you endured suffering at Dachau. Therefore, Nicholai, we glorify you as one newly well pleasing to God.
